The company is involved in the mining and refining of bauxite and nepheline ore into alumina; the smelting of primary aluminum from alumina; and the fabrication of aluminum and aluminum alloys into semi-fabricated and finished products. Its products include primary aluminum, billets, rolling slabs, primary foundry alloys, wire rods, high-purity aluminum, foil and packaging products, aluminum wheels and powders, alumina and bauxite products, corundum products, and gallium and silicon products, as well as aluminum anodes for cathodic protection. The company is also involved in the mining and sale of coal; generation and transmission of electricity produced from various sources; and trading businesses. In addition, it offers repair and maintenance, and finance services. The company sells its products primarily in Europe, Russia, other countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States, Asia, and North and South America.
