Compañía Minera Autlán, S.A.B. de C.V. engages in the production and marketing of manganese minerals and ferroalloys for steel industry in Mexico and internationally. The company produces ferroalloy and manganese products, including high, medium, and low carbon ferromanganese; silicomanganese; nitrided medium carbon ferromanganese; manganese nodules and carbonates; and other ferroalloys, as well as manganese derivatives consisting of battery-grade natural manganese dioxide, ceramic-grade natural manganese dioxide, and manganese oxide products. It also operates Molango, a manganese ore mining unit and Nonoalco, a manganese mineral mining unit located in the northern Hidalgo State; and Naopa, a manganese carbonate mining unit located in the middle of the Molango Manganese District. In addition, the company generates electricity through hydroelectric power plant situated in the state of Puebla; and offers electrolytic manganese dioxides.
