Burcon NutraScience Corporation, together with its subsidiaries, develops plant proteins and ingredients for use in the food and beverage industries in Canada. The company's products include Peazazz, a pea protein for use in dairy alternatives, ready-to-drink beverages, dry blended beverages, bars, baked goods, and meat substitute products; and Peazac and Peazac 850, a pea protein for plant-based meat alternative products, ready-to-mix powders, ready-to-mix beverages, dairy alternatives, and nutrition bars, as well as other applications requiring the most neutral flavor and moderate viscosity. It provides Puratein, a canola protein isolate for use in meat alternatives, such as burgers, sausages, and nutrition bars; Supertein, a canola protein that is a light-colored powder for use in non-dairy frozen desserts, egg alternative, plant-based marshmallows and ready-to-mix beverages, whipped toppings, and plant-based bars; and Nutratein, a canola protein comprising a mixture of globulin and albumin proteins for use in meat and egg alternatives, and other plant-based functional foods. In addition, the company offers Nutratein-PS and Nutratein-TZ, a blend of Peazac pea protein; and CLARISOY, a soy protein for use in sports nutrition beverages, citrus-based drinks, fruit-flavored beverages, lemonades, powdered beverage mixes, and other foods and nutritional products.
