Gulf Energy Development Public Company Limited produces and sells electricity, steam, and chilled water to public and private clients in Thailand and internationally. It operates through three segments: Power Business, Consulting Business, and Infrastructure Business. The company generates electricity through gas-fired, solar, and wind power projects under the independent power producers, small power producers, and very small power producer programs. As of December 31, 2021, it had a total installed power capacity of 7,875 megawatts. The company also undertakes infrastructure projects; produces and distributes electricity from biomass; and provides natural gas distribution services; and invests in digital infrastructure and digital-related services business. In addition, it engages in the provision of services related to the operation and maintenance, as well as engineering services of the power plants; solar energy solutions and maintenance services; and infrastructure construction services of liquefied natural gas receiving terminal, including storage of liquefied natural gas and regasification facilities. Further, the company is involved in general trading activities; securities investment business; and the provision of managerial, financial, technical, and research and other services. Gulf Energy Development Public Company Limited was founded in 2007 and is headquartered in Bangkok, Thailand.
