Infrax Systems, Inc. provides a series of interrelated operational management, communications, and electric power grid security related products and services that enable a unified solution for communications and applications management of the smart electric power grid. The company offers Secure Intelligent Energy Platform that offers utilities the ability to communicate with devices connected to the power grid. It also provides communication devices, including Secure Network Interface Card that resides in the utility power meter to encrypt and transport the data, such as usage, voltage, current, etc.; and collectors, concentrators, and repeaters. In addition, it offers GridMesh software that allows its hardware devices to securely join the network and communicate with each other; Utility Max (UMAX) and UMAX+ wireless solutions for electric power utilities and telephone carriers to set up a point-to-point or point-to-multipoint Ethernet links; and Grid Intrusion Management systems. Further, the company provides distribution automation solution for two-way communications from distribution devices along the power grid to the back office or substations; managed services and customer support, such as network design, deployment support, and program management; and professional services comprising engineering, construction, and project management services to the smaller utilities.
