PAO NOVATEK has a strategic cooperation agreement with Japan Bank for International Cooperation to cooperate on projects to produce hydrogen and ammonia, carbon capture, utilization, and storage technologies, as well as renewable energy projects in Russia. The company was formerly known as OAO NOVATEK and changed its name to PAO NOVATEK in October 2016. PAO NOVATEK was founded in 1994 and is based in Tarko-Sale, Russia.
