Thai Solar Energy Public Company Limited generates and distributes electricity from solar and biomass power plants to government and private sector clients in Thailand and Japan. The company also leases land. As of December 31, 2021, it had 17 solar PV farm projects, 14 solar rooftop projects, 3 biomass powerplants, and 1 Solar Floating with a total production capacity of 291.7 MW; and 1 solar floating project under construction with a capacity of 8 MW. The company was formerly known as Siam Solar Energy Co., Ltd. and changed its name to Thai Solar Energy Public Company Limited in 2009.
